World Book Day 2016

In promoting education and learning, Cal-Maji Foundation reached out to IDP in F.G.C Kwali Abuja as part of her activities in celebrating 'Children's Day 2016'. We attended to 67 IDP pupils from Bornu, Yobe and Adamawa. Other beneficiaries also were 70 final year pupils of F.G.C Kwali Abuja. It was an avenue and a time to encourage reading & learning and also to give support and hope in dark and trying times for the IDP students. The Children were excited to have in their possessions novels and textbooks of interest as relating to career, hobby, science e.t.c The School library was not left out as we had it stocked with study materials and textbooks. Thanks to UNICEF, Devatop and Book my school for partnership and also to the school management (F.G.C Kwali) for receiving our donations in good faith.

Project FEED FATI - Feed A Thousand Initiative

For our project Feed a Thousand Initiative Kogi! At the beggar community in Lokoja Kogi State. We worked to feed the community, especially the elderly. We emphasized on the fact that now is the time more than ever before to push for and advocate for the building of shelter homes to transition the elderly, and homeless to a place of proper care. The mantra of leaving no one behind, especially the vulnerable and underserved communities was adopted. We worked in partnership with MARIECARE INITIATIVE, Fed Min of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development, to execute this project.
